Description:

The pwn.pl company is the leading supplier of translation software for individual users as well as for companies and institutions. We have participated in creating various versions of translatica - starting from dedicated websites available for use for selected customers with special licences, to products. They were to be installed in a local intranet and provided for use as a local company resource.

The translatica.pl website is currently one of the main Internet websites in Poland providing many translation engines as well as the Polish-English language dictionary (with translation - from the Polish to the English language, and vice versa). The translation engines include:
- English-Polish and Polish-English,
- German-Polish and Polish-German,
- Russian-Polish and Polish-Russian.
The translation engines available on the website allow automatic translation of single words as well as entire sentences.

The website at multimedia.translatica.pl allows purchasing electronic versions of dictionaries over the Internet (to be downloaded after payment).

The Challenge:

Creation of an efficient website that will handle high numbers of visits. It was important to deploy the webstore functionality as well as the applications providing web dictionaries. Moreover, there emerged a need for removing errors and adding new functionalities on pages.

The Solution:

Preparation of a concept plan, and deployment of new solutions accelerating and improving the operation of websites. Currently, we add new functionalities to the websites on a regular basis.
